Emergency and Priority Service

When the system has to be cleared before the kitchen can run.

Some situations cannot wait for the next scheduled visit: a failed fire inspection, a shutdown order, or an exhaust system that is not operable. We schedule this work on a priority basis.

What this covers

A correction notice or a shutdown order changes the problem from a maintenance question into an operating one. What matters then is getting the system cleaned, documented, and back into a defensible position, with paperwork the inspector will accept.

Priority work carries the same scope and the same documentation as a scheduled cleaning. A partial clean that gets a kitchen open and then fails the re-inspection helps nobody, so we do not offer one.

Call and describe the situation. We will tell you plainly what we can do and when we can do it, rather than committing to something we cannot hold.

Scope
  • Failed fire inspections and correction notices
  • Shutdown orders and systems that cannot run
  • Full NFPA 96 cleaning scope, not a partial service
  • Complete documentation: photographs, service report, and NFPA 96 compliance sticker
  • Direct communication with your inspector or insurance carrier where it helps

What to have ready when you call

The correction notice or the inspector's findings, the site address, the date you are working against, and a contact who can grant after-hours access. With those four things we can give you a straight answer on the same call.

If the problem is missing records rather than a dirty system

That happens more often than you would think, usually after a vendor change or a staffing change. A full cleaning with complete documentation establishes a defensible starting point, and a maintenance schedule keeps the record continuous from there.

What no legitimate contractor will do is produce records for work that did not happen. If someone offers, that is a larger problem than the one you called about.

Behind every service

NFPA 96 is the reference, not our opinion

Frequency, access requirements, filter type, measurable cleanliness, and reporting are all set by the standard. We publish what it requires so you can hold any contractor to it, including us.
