What this covers

This policy describes how Pinnacle Specialty Services Group LLC handles information collected through this website. It does not cover information you give us on the phone, in an email, or during service at your site, which is handled under the terms of your proposal and any agreement between us.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information. The first is what you choose to send us. The second is the ordinary technical information a web server records when any browser requests a page.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial account details, government identification numbers, or health information. Please do not send them through this site.

• Information you submit: your name, business or facility, phone number, email address, service address, and whatever you write about your system when you request an estimate.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the referring page. This is standard web server and analytics data and is not used to identify you personally.

The estimate form goes to Jobber

The request form on this site is an embedded form provided by Jobber, the field service management platform we use to run scheduling, quoting, and service records. What you type into that form is submitted to Jobber and becomes a client record and a service request there.

That means Jobber processes your submission on our behalf and its own privacy terms apply to that processing in addition to this policy. If you would rather not use the form, call or email us and we will take the details directly.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry, to look at your system and prepare a quote, to schedule and perform work, and to produce the service documentation that work requires. We use technical information to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Information is shared only where it is needed to do the work or where we are required to share it:

• Service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf, including Jobber for scheduling and records, our website host, and our email provider.
• Fire authorities and compliance reporting systems, where a jurisdiction requires a service report to be submitted after a visit.
• Your own insurer, authority having jurisdiction, or corporate office, where you ask us to send documentation to them.
• Anyone we are required to share it with by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number, we use it to send appointment confirmations, visit reminders, and service updates. Marketing texts are sent only if you tick the separate box to receive them. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept while they are still useful to follow up on and then removed. Records connected to work we performed are kept for as long as they may be needed for compliance, insurance, and tax purposes, which is generally several years, because a service report is the kind of document an inspector or a carrier may ask about long after the visit.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technology for basic functionality and for analytics that tell us which pages are being read. The embedded request form sets its own cookies, and it uses reCAPTCHA to block automated submissions, which is subject to Google's terms.

Most browsers let you refuse cookies or delete them. The site works without them, though the embedded form may not.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the systems holding client records is restricted to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@pssg.co and tell us what you are asking for. We may need to confirm who you are before we act.

If you receive email from us that you did not ask for, tell us and we will stop sending it.

Children

This site is for commercial kitchen operators and facility staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above tells you when the current version was published, and any material change will be reflected there.
